II. Exam Rules & Discipline
2. When should I log in on the exam day?
Candidates must log into the system 30-60 minutes before the exam starts and complete device debugging. Candidates who have not completed login and verification after the exam begins will be unable to enter the exam.
3. How is identity verification conducted?

Must pass online verification via facial recognition and the original valid ID document. The document information must exactly match the information on the Admission Ticket.
4. What are the requirements for devices and software during the exam?
The following actions are strictly prohibited:

Using any type of wireless earphones/headsets.
5. What are the behavioral guidelines during the exam?

Violations, once confirmed, will be handled according to their severity:

Minor Violations: Cancellation of the scores for the current exam.

Serious Violations: Cancellation of the scores for the current exam, and a ban from retaking the exam for two years from the date of the violation.

Severe Violations: Cancellation of all historical scores, and a lifetime ban from taking the CSCA exam.

Extremely Severe Violations: May be referred to judicial authorities for handling according to the law, and may affect qualifications for studying in China and visa applications.
III. Proctoring Requirements
9. What are the requirements for the proctoring devices?

Always On: The cameras and microphones of both the main and secondary devices must be on throughout the exam and must not be covered or turned off.

Video Quality: The video must be clear and well-lit, allowing clear identification of the candidate’s facial features and actions.

Camera Angles:

Main Device: Captures the upper body and front view of the candidate’s face.

Secondary Device: Placed at a 45-degree angle behind and to the side of the candidate, fully covering the candidate’s profile, shoulders, arms, hands, and the main device’s screen.

Audio Monitoring: The microphone must function normally to capture ambient sound.

Device Status: The secondary device must have stable power, all non-essential apps must be closed, “Do Not Disturb” mode must be enabled. Using “Airplane Mode + Wi-Fi” (enable Airplane mode first, then manually enable Wi-Fi) is recommended to prevent interruptions.
IV. Registration Guide

Candidates must register via the official CSCA registration website (www.csca.cn), using a personal, long-term valid email address, and complete the payment.
11. What is the registration deadline?
Please log into the registration system or check the official website announcements for the specific registration deadline of the current exam session.
12. What should I pay attention to during registration?
During registration, you must ensure that the personal information filled in (name, ID number, etc.) is true and accurate, and exactly matches the information on the valid ID document presented on the exam day. Otherwise, you will be unable to take the exam.
13. How do I pay the exam fee?
The exam fee must be paid online during registration. Specific fee standards and supported payment methods (e.g., VISA, MasterCard, UnionPay) can be found on the registration page.
14. How do I get my Admission Ticket?
The Admission Ticket will be available for download during the specified period before the exam. A download notification will be sent to your registered email. Please download it promptly from the official website and check carefully to ensure the information matches your ID document exactly. It is a mandatory credential for taking the exam.
